Here’s a song from Blood Brothers sung by the two Cassidy heartthrobs who had starred in the play, David and Shaun. It’s beautifully done. I enjoy seeing these two together. Can you feel the love? It’s also wonderful to see David singing his heart out!!! Patrick has a great voice too, and I understand that Ryan also sings. What do you think ladies, the four Cassidy brothers as Il Divo? That would have been a something.
For those of you who don’t know the play, here is a description from Wikipedia:
The musical has a contemporary nature vs. nurture plot, revolving around fraternal twins who were separated at birth. The twins’ different backgrounds take them to opposite ends of the social spectrum, one becoming an Oxbridge-graduated councillor and the other unemployed and imprisoned. Both fall in love with the same girl, with tragic consequences.

This is what Shaun Cassidy had to say about David’s singing in “Could it be Forever?”, DC’s second autobiography: “People don’t know how good a singer David is. He’s a really good singer. He has incredible range. He has incredible pitch and I know this because Patrick and I have sung with him and we’ve tried to do three-part harmony, and he’s always the most solid.”

David’s really good at harmonies isn’t he? I’d love to see all the brothers work together on another project. That would be great. Isn’t David cute, he looks younger than Shaun.

Thanks for the Shaun commentary about David’s singing, DD! I think he’s more than just “really good” though. He could have been so much more. I wish I knew more about the entertainment business so that I could compare him appropriately.
And BF, that would be so great to see all the brothers together. Dang. And about the way he looks here…Yes, I was thinking the same thing: he’s looks younger than Shaun. And cute???? I think the only thing about his looks through his early 50s that I didn’t care for was the blond hair. But, from a sexy standpoint, I think I like his early 40s to 50s look the best. To clarify, it drives me crazy!!!
I think he’s more than “really good” too!! Makes me wonder how subjective all this stuff is, you know? It can’t all be just a matter of taste. Remember in the PF bio on The Biography channel when one of the producers said they tested David’s voice and found it “pleasant”. Yeah, it’s pleasant all right. LOL.
