Elle, you’re right, I have been doing most of the posting. It’s pretty easy when the pictures, videos, and music do most of the work for you. Seriously! Finding the gems I want to post about has taken some time, but I confess I have been working on this collection for over three months now.
And here’s another one. Public Health Alert (thanks British Fan!! LOL!!!): His pants really were “on fire”, weren’t they??? I think that is the point of this video. LOL! Many thanks to cherishdavid on YouTube!!

The smile at the beginning is just divine. Lashes alert! All I can say is I wish were David’s guitar. He was nicknamed Superpuppy by his managers wasn’t he? Keep them coming!

Hi British Fan, LOL!!!!!! I know what you mean in your second comment!!! Oh, the lashes. I think I’m going to do another post about them. There’s one video I came across that seems to have a larger than usual collection of pictures that seem to showcase those lashes!!! I went crazy over it!!!
And I can’t really say more about this here, but … I echo your thoughts about the guitar, believe me, especially when he plays it so vigorously. 
Oh, one more thing British Fan, is it just a coincidence that you put the sentence about the Superpuppy after wanting to be his guitar??? Or, pray tell, does it have something to do with his vigorously “playing” the guitar? LOL!!!!
Oh thats funny! I think he earned that nickname all little girls love cute, adorable puppies and David’s appeal was cuter and more adorable than any puppy. However,looking at it as an adult you don’t see the cute puppyness so much as the smouldering red hotness. He’s a low-down dirty dawg! Ok, maybe not really, but some of those camera angles zoom in and linger in the most interesting places.
Yes, I know what you mean, British Fan. I don’t think I EVER thought of him as a puppy for that matter. LOL!! I was wondering if those close ups were actually done by cherishdavid when she created the video for YouTube. LOL!!! I was thinking that perhaps there was a way to zoom in even more than the original recording with the software used to create that video. Because I don’t know if I’ve ever seen those close ups before. When I go back and look at the Mae video from the first post I did, there are none of those “close ups”. I’ll have to ask her and I’ll let you know!!
Thanks for the emails. I cant access them on this computer (our spare and my daughter has customised it for her own needs). My OH uses our computer for work so he likes me to use the spare for my fun. I will send you a reply soon. I’m still getting to grips with sending emails if you can believe that!
Love this of course. Any live clips of a young David is appreciated but I must ask, have you seen the clip from the French TV show Melody in which he appeared with Steve Ross to “perform” this song? His eyes sparkled like diamonds. UNREAL. Hope this link works. If not, head on over to Alexmaybehot’s channel. Pronto. I have it among my favorites as well. Gives a whole new meaning to the term “on fire”

OMG. Thank you, thank you, Daydreaming David!!!!! I think I’ve seen this before, but had lost track of it – didn’t bookmark it properly or something. But it’s distressing because how could I have forgotten that he’s was so “on fire” here in this video, esp. in those red leather pants????? LOL!!!! Yes, this is a GREAT video. Thanks so much!!!
About the link, I think Wordpress figures out it’s a link for us and puts its own html in the comment, so we don’t get what we expect when it’s published. I ran into this earlier today with a comment on the ITILY post (http://staingirlz.com/2009/11/02/david-cassidy-itily/) where I was trying to embed a link to Clodyne’s website. So I went back and just took out the html tags around it and it made the link. That can be not so great when you’ve got one of those horrendous URLs like you get from YouTube and you’re not able to make a nice clean label for it. Oh well.
I want to try something here. I want to see if it will correctly italicize David if I put the html tags for that around it. Here goes.
Oh! So I can use html in the comment. Good to know. I can always go in and edit the comment with the correct html for using a label after the fact – I think. I’m going to try now.

Your’re so right about the eyes DD. You know David is so perfectly proportioned. When he stands alone he doesn’t look short and his legs are long. It’s only when he’s stood next to Steve that he seems so little.They look great together.I love the way David looks at Steve.
Yes, his eyes do sparkle so much. I wonder why? Maybe he’s just really enjoying himself having Steve there? I don’t think I’ve ever seen him like this anywhere else. His expression is so beautiful!!!

How do you like the part where he’s singing “I am a clown”.A few years ago,Kate posted only this short clip on YouTube and when I saw it for the first time I ended up in tears.No joke! I just couldn’t beleive what I was seeing.I was only 14 years old when I first saw David on tv.I knew him only as Keith Partridge back then.I didn’t know he was doing concerts all over the place.So you can easily imagine the shock I had when I saw that video.I’m no longer 15 but I still go gaga over David’s 70’s look.I just can’t beleive just how beautiful and gorgeous that man was.Anyway…have a great time watching the video.Talk to you soon.Have a great night!

Clodyne, he was unbelievable. “Tell me you love me, Make me real.” Major chills!!!! This is a great, great video!!!! I’m still weak from watching it. This is one of those videos that should be watched on a regular basis. I don’t drink, so I’ll just watch that and become besotted from David (thank you British Fan for that word). I loved the close ups of him in his interview too. In the beginning when he talks about it being a —– experience for fans and him too…I cannot find the words. ;=))))))))))) Thanks again, Clodyne. You’ve really treated me today!!! Hey, this can be my birthday present from you since it is coming up soon. I’m going to be … eek…50. Is it bad?
Well, British Fan, after being treated to the Weekend at Wembley again (courtesy of Clodyne), I see that those “close ups” were actually recorded like that. Wow! They really wanted to recreate the very feel of what it must have been like to be there, didn’t they? Those devils. That video should have a warning on it: May cause hyperventilation, faintness, and besottedness. Do not operate heavy machinery for at least an hour after watching this. LOL!!!!!
I just had a peek, hope that’s ok. I remember seeing this on tv at the time. It was a news documentary. He’s ‘otherworldly’ in this don’t you think? I just fell for that soft spoken and beautifully angelic speaking voice. Has he ever looked more beautiful that here? You can plainly see the madness he caused in England.
You know what, these were the concerts I was not allowed to go to. My friend Phyllis went to London with her family and invited me but my Dad said No, he was worried as I was only 11/12. Anyhow my friend’s older sister and her two friends, who I thought were grown up and sophisticated, they were 15, LOL, saw the show. Phillis and her other friend she took couldn’t get in as there were no tickets left. She did come back with posters, rosettes, banners and records and was happy enough! She waited outside with her parents like those being interviewed. They did get to see the London tourist attractions instead. Not much of a consolation! We had to put up with her sister squealing about it for months afterwards. They moved to Australia the following year and we lost touch. Sorry TMI.
Yes Kaye…Weekend at Wembley is a great video to see.It gives you an ouline on all the madness that surrounded David at that time.After I got to watch it the first time,it took me days to get over it.LOL No wonder all the girls went gaga over him back then.And you’re right…there should be a warning on those kinds of videos.LOL I thought I had seen everything on him,but boy was I wrong!! Otherworldly, yes. I have no words for some of this. I’m literally stunned!!!
Oh! So you never did get to see him back then? Sigh. I don’t think my parents would have let me go either at that age. Maybe if I was at least 14. And I don’t think that they would have offered to take me. I took my younger sister to see Rick Springfield once. That wasn’t crazy though. It was actually pretty mild. Wow, I was so detached from him and that concert. I can appreciate HIM a lot more now. Too bad you didn’t have an older sister to take you.
I know Clodyne, I feel like I need to “recover” from that video. It was very, very well put together. I think it really came close to capturing what it must have been like to have been young like that seeing him in concert. Of course, it doesn’t cover what it’s like to older women like us watching it now. A bit of a different reaction, no? LOL!!! Maybe there should be a documentary about that. And there may well be one yet!!! LOL!!! OK, I’ll email you. Can’t wait to find out what it is you have to tell me. :=)))))

Oh!!!! Link alert everyone. The Wembley videos have now been made private!!! Dang. So I’m hoping that if we get a MySpace account, we’ll be allowed as friends.
British Fan, I think the thick haze of afterglow from watching that video is starting to dissipate a little and some thoughts about his looks in the Wembley video are starting to come to mind. He looks and sounds like he’s only 17 to me. And while he’s definitely got this amazing sex appeal, for me it’s more like looking and listening to this achingly beautiful —- youth (I can’t be more explicit here). You know how children can be just so beautiful. Their innocence. Their newness. Their softer features. He has that quality for me in the Wembley video.
Elle and I discussed what happens next after the 30-day blogging challenge is over, and I think I will be creating a separate blog to cover these David discussions so that we can be more open with our comments. I’ll communicate with you about that through email probably. That is if you all want to continue, of course. I really appreciate you visiting and all of your wonderful participation!!! Continuing a new blog sounds like a good idea. It’s nice to exchange thoughts/ideas with others. Hope you have a great birthday. Don’t you know 50 is the new 30 apparantly! I’ll be there myself before too long. Funny how you don’t feel any different on the inside, it’s just the outside the causes the problems. Talking about David makes me feel like a silly teenager all over again, well sometimes anyhow!
Thanks British Fan! I think this year is going to be one of my best ironically. I usually don’t have this much fun in my life. LOL!!!! I used to when my kids were really young (they were so much fun), but now they’re at the age where they barely even want to acknowledge I’m their mother. LOL!!! When I first started learning about David, I felt a little guilty about how it was affecting me and the time I was spending on it. But this has turned into something much more for me with the stimulating social aspect of it. It’s better than any antidepressant!!!! Yet another story of how David has had such an impact on someone’s life. LOL!! Thank you all!!!
I think,everyone has his or her own story about David and how he affected our lives and that’s what counts.
We also realize that we’ll never be 13-14-15 or 16 again.When we were young we didn’t have to think how it would be like to get older.We simply lived our lives plain and simple.Today I realize that my tween years were the best years of my life.And with all that is happening in the world today I wish there was a way to turn back time.I would like to be 15-16 years old again.
I am now 51 years old and like most of you here sometimes I feel like I’m 15 again.LOL Ever since David reappeared in my life in December 2006,I’ve been acting like a 15 year old and like BRITISH FAN said: Talking about David makes me feel like a silly teenager all over again.But who cares! I got to know so many wonderful people because of David.It’s interesting to know that there are people out there who love David just as much as I do.For a long time I thought I was the only one to be affected by him and to care about him.Now I know I’m not.
Like I wrote above,we all have our own story when it comes to him and it’s great to be able to share them with others.So I really don’t care about people think when I mention David’s name.David makes me happy and this is all that counts!

Yes, I agree Clodyne, life’s too short to worry about how we have our fun as long as it’s not hurting anybody!! I’ve usually been so “practical” in my life and that really hasn’t exactly worked out that well in the long run in terms of my spirit. Heck, before David, I didn’t even know I COULD react like this to anything. LOL!!!!!
Have you all noticed that the “close ups” here have been put into slow motion? While cherishdavid did get these close up clips from the Weekend at Wembley, she also put them in slow motion for this video. A very nice effect, huh? LOL!!
