Thanks for the info on live albums DD. I'm waiting desperately for Cassidy Live from 1974 to be re-released. Used to have it on vinyl when I was a teen (all my childhood DC stuff got lost over the years). You know there's not much PF material on it. It's quite respectable actually. I love his live version of cc rider/Jenny. He really was good at the rockin' tunes. His British concerts were so good! YT brings back wonderful memories.

The vampire's back :) Just came back to correct my previous comment that DC only has one live album. Was just on the Downunder fansite and it shows a total of three live albums. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for more info.

Thanks British Fan!!

Daydreaming David, I agree, stocks and retirement plans are not going to lull you to sleep, and if anything these days, may even give you a panic attack. LOL!!! But researching David while listening to his beautiful voice can soothe, among other things that are vastly better for your health. Besides you'd be sleeping anyway; I say do what gives you the most pleasure or relaxation as the antidote to sleeplessness. :-)

Thanks Kaye for the links. Tomorrow I will post a little information on health care in Britain and Europe. I'm too tired now, been out this evening. I'll also check out the career links more fully. Thank you.I used to be a bit of a night owl too but lately I've started feeling too sleepy. It must be a sign I'm getting older!

DD - I would rather research David too! If I could stay awake longer I could spend more time with him. LOL!

British fan, just to reassure you, I'm only a part-time vampire. I usually have one or two sleepless nights a week and I end up in front of the computer. I suppose I could research stocks and plan my retirement but David's a tad more addictive ;-)

Yes, British Fan, thanks so much for your interest, valuable perspective, and feedback! That is a great idea viewing networks from other countries. We are planning to get more focused on hard-to-find items so as Elle said, at least when this 30-day blogging challenge is over. So we probably won't be doing as much posting on issues, etc. in the near future.

But if you have some time - whenever - it would be great if you could comment on Healthcare Abroad: Give Us Your Experiences.

Hi, BF, just caught your wonderful comment on our site. We always love the appreciative stuff.

The purpose of the blog is two-fold. We do want to inform and entertain, and are having fun with that. And feel free to comment on anything and everything. We love receiving different perspectives, and I do get lonely writing on my non-DC and stud posts.

The second intent is to make money. Hence the google ads and Amazon widgets. But we have always envisioned working with the hard-to-fit woman, or finding hard-to-find pieces. Eventually, we hope to have a store carrying fun items you may not find elsewhere and garments and undergarments that will help with the jiggles and wiggles and with the fit of clothes. We'll begin writing more on those topics after the 30 days. It is quite the challenge to keep up the site on a daily basis.

This is a bit off topic so apologies.

I just had a look at some of the articles in your blogging journey. I hope you don't mind, I hate being 'nosey', but since the words "targeting at women of a certain age" caught my attention, I didn't think you'd mind.
I've spent the past few weeks coming here twittering like an idiot over David Cassidy when I haven't paid attention to the fact that you are creating something extra-ordinary here. I think middle aged people on the internet (especially women) number in (hundreds of) thousands, possible more so than younger ones. It's great that you are trying to build something targeted at my age group. Do you mind me asking if you are creating it for pleasure, to give out useful information on women's issues and general interaction or are you both hoping to start up a business in connection with it? What a worthwhile thing to do.

When I first started using the internet I mainly used to find information and teach myself about subjects I'm interested in. I'm an avid reader and accademically minded (but have no common sense whatsoever!). I'd get an obsession over a subject, research it and move on to the next. It went downhill from there when I found youtube and from there directly to David Cassidy. I really should be using my brain more effectively.

I'd love to continue watching/reading but being British and outside of American culture I may not be in the best position to comment on issues.

You mention topics for blogs such as breaking news and cutting edge technology. We all tend to watch our own news channels to keep up with what is going on in the world. I started watching CNN and other American networks, French, Japanese, and Russian channels, also Al Jazeera (Middle East). I was astounded how much your own news (British for me) is censored. You can gain so much more knowledge and a wider perspective of certain world issues by studying different world channels. Sorry, gone a bit geeky there.

Good luck with it. I hope your readership increases.
