Staingirlz, I just love older ladies with a sense of humor. Remember how much we enjoyed Cloris Leachman in the Cougar Town spoof? I think Betty White outdid Cloris and herself in her recent stint on Saturday Night Live.
Thanks to an unbelievable Facebook campaign that began in December 2009, Betty White was invited to host SNL on Saturday, May 7. Imagine, one of the oldest living comediennes being championed in a medium that is just out of its infancy, that is used primarily by younger generations, and for a show that caters to a relatively young, hip crowd!
And she brought the audience with her. Saturday Night Live experienced its highest ratings in 18 months. We’ve posted this clip on Betty White’s Dusty Muffins for those of you in Canada and across the pond, or other locals who didn’t get to watch Betty White in action. Enjoy!
(Warning: The following clip contains PG-13 humor.)

Elle, you bad, bad, girl! LMAO!!! This is just what I needed after my day today.
I’m amazed at what Betty will do. Go Betty!!! I don’t know how they keep a straight face. LOL! There’s so much more they could have done with this too: “powdered muffin”…
Check this out: Pete Schweddy’s Christmas Balls.
Well, thanks to Staingirl Kaye, I finally saw this on YT. Loved it, hilarious, rude and very clever! Go octogenarians.
Great Karen!!! Thanks for the comment! I was afraid after that YT comment from that British person that it would be ill-received.
